Here for you this festive season

13th December 2018

We know that facing the festive season can sometimes be a struggle for those who have been through pregnancy loss. At a time when children are often at the forefront of everyone’s minds, many of you will be thinking about your lost babies and what might have been.

One special way to remember your babies at this (and any other) time of the year is by adding a star with a personal message, or simply a name and date, on our Stars of Remembrance page. Please just bear in mind that we can only add your star during office hours – Mon-Fri 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., but not Christmas or Boxing Day.

Please also remember that we’re here for you if you’d like to talk.

Even when we’re closed for the bank holidays:

  • You can still post and read messages on our support forum, thanks to our volunteer moderators. If you’re not already a member, join by 3 p.m. on 24 December to be able to access the forum over Christmas.
  • You can use our private Facebook groups  – one is general and one is for people who are pregnant after loss – at any time to share your thoughts and feelings with others.

Here’s hoping you have a gentle and peaceful festive season and a happy 2019.

From all of us at the Miscarriage Association.
