Baby Loss Awareness Week – Our Miscarriage Association Memory Walk
This October, join us in remembering all the tiny lives lost too soon.
On Sunday 12th October – during Baby Loss Awareness Week – we’re asking you to join our annual Memory Walk and walk 4 miles at 4pm, reflecting the 1 in 4 pregnancies that very sadly end in loss.
The funds you raise will help us be there to continue to support people through the heartbreak of pregnancy loss.
However recent or long ago your loss was, our Memory Walk is a special way to remember, reflect, and honour your baby’s memory, either individually or with friends and family. We hope you will join us.
Organising your Memory Walk
Our free resources page has printable name labels, advice on deciding your route, paper sponsor forms, and a customisable poster which you may find useful.
All you need to do to take part is simply plan a route that’s four miles long – there’s a helpful leaflet to help you on the resources page – and then invite your friends, family and colleagues, if you’d like, to join you to walk at 4pm on Sunday 12th October.
Get fundraising by setting up a page on JustGiving. Ensure you set up your page under the team page – you can do this by clicking the orange ‘Start Fundraising’ button under the Just Giving campaign page.
Click on the Walk to Remember button to begin.
Once your page has received over £10 in donations, we’ll send you a link to order our special Memory Walk T-shirt and your fundraising pack. (You’ll need to raise a minimum of £10 per person to receive additional T-shirts.)
