New Opportunities to Fundraise for the Miscarriage Association in 2025!

6th November 2024

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve expanded our charity events lineup, offering even more ways to support the Miscarriage Association in 2025. For the first time, we have limited charity places available for the Brighton Marathon, Edinburgh Marathon, Leeds Marathon and Swim Serpentine!

These new additions join our longstanding charity places for both the Great North Run and the London Marathon, giving supporters across the UK more choices to get involved and help raise crucial funds.

We believe that expanding our marathon places – and adding Swim Serpentine – helps make fundraising for the MA more accessible to everyone, from Scotland to Yorkshire to the south coast. Every mile you run, every lap you swim, and every pound you raise will support the MA’s work, which includes providing information, resources, and emotional support to those impacted by pregnancy loss.

How to Apply, and Things to Think About:

• Apply for a Place Early: Charity spots are very limited, so be sure to express your interest early for a chance to be selected.
• Thinking about your story: If you are chosen for one of our limited places, you might want to share your story as part of your fundraising, along with how you plan fundraise. Planning ahead will help you achieve your goals in the long run!
• Spread the word: Sharing that you’re taking part, and why, can inspire friends and family to rally behind your efforts. Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a difference.
• Stay Connected: If you’re selected for one of our places, you’ll become a much-valued member of Team M.A. You’ll be supported by Karn and Emma throughout your training and fundraising journey. You’ll receive a fundraising pack, tips, encouragement, and exclusive MA updates, connecting you to a network of like-minded supporters.

Every Step Makes a Difference:

Every pound raised for the MA goes directly towards helping us support people going through the heartbreak of pregnancy loss when they need it most.
Your funds could help us extend our helpline support hours, fund and awareness campaign for social media, or enable us to work on new projects to provide better support for those going through loss.

We hope to see you at the starting line, whether it’s in Brighton, Edinburgh, Leeds, or in the water! Apply for your place with us today.
